I am delighted to share HAPPINESS LifeBOOST® in its new, generous 100ml format. This was the first fragrance I imagined for Edeniste, born from a clear ambition: to unite fine perfumery with neuroscience so that scent can genuinely elevate how we feel.
At its core is something simple and human: I wanted to give joy to people.
Edeniste exists because I believe fragrance can carry empathy, kindness, and compassion, not as sentiment, but as science made sensorial, and intention made visible and wearable.
At its heart lies the Reward Accord, developed by Takasago R&D and mapped in the brain by Professor Thomas Hummel using fMRI. His work showed activation of the dopaminergic reward pathways, the neural circuits of joy, motivation, and positive emotion. Master Perfumer Aurélien Guichard and I then dressed this accord in a luminous trail of mango, melon, coconut, and soft musks, making the science beautifully wearable.
For me, Happiness is more than a perfume, it’s a LifeBOOST®, a new way of thinking about fine fragrance, where clinically studied olfactive molecules are blended with masterful perfumery to support emotional wellbeing. It is a daily ritual to nurture joy, optimism, vitality, kindness, self-love, and a small act of compassion we can offer ourselves and to others every day.

THE SCIENCE & PIONEERING RESEARCH
At Edeniste, we translate methods from medical research into perfumery, selecting olfactive molecules whose effects are clinically measured on the brain and body.
HOW WE VALIDATED HAPPINESS
EEG (molecule screening). Across LifeBOOST®, EEG guided the selection of molecules with neuro-responsive profiles for targeted emotional states.
fMRI (the accord). Prof. Thomas Hummel tested the Happiness (Reward) Accord with functional MRI and observed activation consistent with dopaminergic reward pathway engagement: he brain’s natural “feel-good” circuit (joy, motivation, positive affect).
Biosensors (the final juice). The finished HAPPINESS LifeBOOST® active essence, showed a clear modulation of the emotional sphere:
- Respiration: gentle increase in rate with decreased depth: a signature of euphoric excitement (not stress).
- Affective readouts: patterns consistent with positive arousal without strain.
In short: EEG informs molecules or ingredients; fMRI validates the accord in the brain; Biosensors confirm the final fragrance supports the intended happy state.
